The Guild Of The Living Rosary

Of Our Lady and Saint Dominic

A National Intercessory Guild

The Rev. Canon David M. Baumann, SSC, Chaplain
Ms. Elizabeth A. M. Baumann, Secretary

The Guild of the Living Rosary of Our Lady and St. Dominic is a guild of intercession using the traditional rosary. It was founded in England in October 1905. The Guild is Anglican-based, but membership is open to any Christian. There are members in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States, and perhaps elsewhere too!

Members are asked to pray just one decade of the rosary each day with a special intention. Intercession sheets with the intentions are produced three times a year and are provided to the members before the first days of January, May, and September.

Though one decade may seem a small prayer to ask, one benefit of membership in the Guild is that one prays with nineteen other members to comprise an entire rosary of twenty mysteries. One can be assured that in partnership with others an entire rosary is prayed with the appointed intercession.

The Guild of the Living Rosary is a ministry within the larger Society of Mary [http://www.societyofmary.net/], an Anglican devotional society with members throughout the Anglican world. The website for the American region of the Society of Mary is here: www.somamerica.org/. Annual dues are $5.00 per year; Life Membership is $40.00.

Anyone who may be interested in the Guild is asked to communicate with the Chaplain or the Secretary by the U. S. mails or by email.
